Patient portal

The portal gives patients their own view of what the clinic holds about them. It is an add-on, and the clinic switches access on per patient.

What it does

Sign-in with a 6-digit code sent by email and valid for 10 minutes, or with a magic link. Patients have no password to remember.
Portal access switched on per patient by the clinic.
Pages for visits, prescriptions, documents, lab orders, referrals and medical history.
An appointments page with the patient's appointments.
A profile page and the intake form, filled in by the patient.
Consent forms signed from the portal.
Messages with the clinic, encrypted at rest.
A self-service export of the patient's own data, and a deletion request the clinic then handles.

Everything in the portal comes from the patient record. Messages sent from the portal arrive with staff, and sign-in codes go out by email.
